Where are you???

You came as a stranger in my life
Became integral part of my life
You walked away from my life
Leaving indefatigable scars in my life

My eyes keep on searching for you
My heart still sings the songs for you
And it keeps on asking a question-
To me- why did you leave me far behind?

Whose fault was it?
Or the time was not ripe for it?
Did I fail to understand you?
Or you took me on a ride all the while?

Alas! There’s no more time-
To question or answer;
To crib and to blame
Or to cry over the fate


Now is the time
To take a decision
To wipe the tears
And to forgive and forget
