The life after college when you step into the real world, standing on your own feet (I mean definitely when you start earning) can be so thrilling and tempting. You are into different planet at times just at the thought of “Glamorous Corporate World”, “Hefty Pays-scale”, new locations, new friends and so on.
But at the same time you may be also gloomy at the thought of leaving your alma mater, your old friends, end of college life (a life of masti, dhoom and no real world tensions), leaving your native place or your family and so on.
However after stepping into this real world you realize the sheer glamour, which might be a mask for some, simply dabbed with glittering powder and mask. Though the real world is not bad, after and all it gives you the opportunity to come to face to face with the cruel realities of the world.
Some are people are too happy with their work, while others are not. Reasons may be many like higher expectations in terms of work profile, salary, location and work culture not to forget. Some people seem to be too happy with their job however it might be. This may be because either they don’t have high expectations or many of them have lost the hope of a better job prospect coming their way. Some are happy because their job is actually worth it.
While many I have seen are not happy with their job and I found them cribbing them for reasons I mentioned above. If the current scenario is taken into consideration then getting a desirable job is a challenging job in itself.
In some case it’s not the job that becomes a cause of misery but other disturbing things happening in their life ranging from some daily home issues to breaking of first love or whatever. In this case even if the job is lucrative the person is not able to take the full advantage of the situation. And in some case when the above situation ties a knot with the so called- bad job; the situation perhaps can’t be described in words.
Hence many people life becomes- “as usual” once they start working; i.e. whenever you ask them- “what’s going on”, they will reply sheepishly- “as usual”. Even many of friends I guess are under same situation.
But however it may be, it is also a part of the life and must be enjoyed. I guess some research can be done as to- how to make job life more interesting?
Though my job life is good but ofcourse I would also like to know the answer to the above mentioned question.
So anyone with any suggestion please suggest them.
