Mein Kampf

Mein Kampf is the autobiography of Adolf Hitler. The word is a German word and it means- “My Struggle”.
This was the book which took me longest time to read. No doubt it’s a bit painstaking to continue reading this book. At times you will tend to loose interest and think of read a later. But if discontinued it will be harder to read the book. In the starting I found book really interesting, but slowly-slowly I did not find much interest in the book. Though I never felt bored while reading this.
The book has two volumes and I found volume two more appealing then the first one.
The book contains various statements which are worth pondering and debating. The way Hitler has interpreted the situation and understood is really appreciable.
Hitler thought of various names for the book but then he finally decided on Mein Kampf. He wrote the book while in imprisonment in 1924 and in this book he has encompassed his life from childhood, his struggles, his political view and his learning from life as yet.
The book presents a deeper look into the history of Germany and the world from 1918-1923. The book reveals a lot about Hitler, his thinking, his philosophy for life. Hitler was a racist and a true national. I ever in my life as yet don’t know a person as patriotic as Hitler.
No doubt after reading the book you develop a soft corner for Hitler. He from childhood was having an artistic mindset and was not violent. But the struggles he faced in life, the ruling by Jews on Germany and the vulnerable attitude of Germans made him take violent step against Jews. The time he wrote this book he was in the process of making his party, and arising in Germans the need for war against Jews for preservation of their country and their race. Nazi party is no where described in this book.
Hitler was very intelligent and life taught him a lot. He was a brilliant orator and his philosophy by large could be well accepted by people.
Though there were some criticism for the book itself and he was criticized for getting racist in his views and approach.
There is also a sequel to Mein Kampf, named “Zweites Buch” (Second Book) which never got into public domain.
Overall its good reading, just you need to maintain your interest. Personally I liked the book and would like to read it all again.

Anyway

It is a poem by Mother Teresa which i really like-

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered; Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God; It was never between you and them anyway.

Happpiness!!! :-)

What is happiness?
To a child it is a new toy
To a girl it’s a new doll
To some it is a box of chocolates
But to me it’s the chirping birds

To a mother it is her smiling baby
To a father it is his scholar son
To a teenage it is no restriction
But to me it’s the blowing wind

To a nation it is sovereignty
To a man it is growing profits
To a woman it is undue attention
But to me it is the blossoming flower

Happiness has no bounds
It is present everywhere
It is in nature, in mind and heart
It in you and me and all

India

Writing on one’s own country can be easy also and at the same time a tough task. India a land of unity in diversity, a country of rich tradition, culture and inventions and great people. It is a vast country wherein various nations of different beliefs are bundled together to give a definite shape. Perhaps it is the only country in the world which has assimilated so many contradicting beliefs, religions and traditions in one rope.
In today’s world where casteism has taken a ugly shape imagining a country like India is really a whim.
Every country in this world has got its own beliefs and they hardly can accept the beliefs of other people. But in our country every one has got right to practice its religion in the way it wants. We have got largest number of temple of crores of Gods and Goddesses.
Still we respect each other and accept as they are. But then for how long will it be possible. We can see some faction demanding their separate state; we have already witnessed some pie added to the already existing cake. We have also seen various cities have got their name change. We have seen political parties emphasizing on their culture people, language and values. Some where people have started keeping the state and the religion before national interest and jeopardizing the unity of the country.
This is not the only challenge affecting our country. There are various other challenges which can dealt a great blow to the country’s existence. These are-
Terrorism- there is nothing to be said on this
Politics and its dark side- we have largest number of political parties which are more of a religious faction then a national party. The fight just to fulfill their mean interest without giving damn to the nation.
Our values- yes somehow and somewhere our values are also affecting us. We are too compromising, people blessed with weak memories when it comes to remembering the blows dealt on us by the foreigners. Whenever some incidence of terror attack happens we just forget everything the very next day. All these things are taken for granted.
Internal conflicts, internal act of terrorism
Lack of education and lack of sense of responsibility for own country and the list goes on.
I am not criticizing India as man people do. Infact I consider myself blessed to be born in this country but then we have to leverage upon this blessing and fight against various evils afflicting our country

Boys Vs. Girls

One of the most controversial topics. Right from early childhood we can find males and females fighting over this and trying to prove their superiority knowing very well that o on will come out as a winner. And infact no one is superior to other. Both are unique having particular behavioral aspect that separates the two. But for a successful living actually both of these behavioral aspects are needed.
Lets take women first (Ladies first concept)!!!! Women are more emotional, less logical, emotionally stronger than man and very creative. They are more flexible easily adaptable to any situation and are also good crisis manager. They are less demanding, more childish, understanding, good listener and so on.
To highlight a few negative aspect then- they are too emotional to handle this emotions. In the gush of emotions they don’t logically weigh the situation and may take hasty decisions which they at times regret later. Also they are very impatient and can get hyper even in those situations which can be handled peacefully. Undoubtedly, they are good at maneuvering, scheming and can change the face of the situation in a subtle manner. They know how to leverage a particular situation better than guys.

and ofcourse the biggest strength and weakness is their tears
As far as guys are concerned they are no doubt logical, business oriented, focused and ofcourse less creative. They are in the better grasp of the situation which needs to be handled with patience and logic and do not get carried away by emotions. They ofcourse don’t understand subtle emotions which they call as small-small useless stuff. They don’t have much ego issues and can prove as a better friend only if they know how to maintain the relations. They are good at taking care only if they know how to show it.
But then they are highly stubborn and this stubbornness of their can injure great relations. They don’t give a damn to emotional aspect which at times is necessary. And ofcourse they are more insecure and suspecting when it comes to relations. They value everything in terms of money.
But ofcourse then both are needed to run the family, society and this is world.
World cannot be imagined in the absence of one.

Birds !!!

I love seeing the birds flying high in the sky with virtually no restrictions, no fear and no bondage. Daily sitting in my office I see a group of pigeons take long flight together making loud sound, atleast twice a day. I love watching them flocking together in the group and see the camaraderie between them. Ofcourse I am not an ornithologist to understand this aspect of birds (but I would like to know if someone can tell me).
What I imagine is that I also want to be one of them flying high in the sky, without caring for anything or anyone, deep in own thoughts and masti.
Really if we want to learn then the animals and birds have lot to teach us.
They are free from any bondage. They don’t carry any emotions, grudges or ill feelings. They are all independent and blah, blah and blah.
But ya then they do not have family system like us, they don’t fall into emotional traps which at times may be good and they don’t have mind to perceive so many things.
I am thankful to God to grant me this life but still I would like to fly high in the sky like a bird away from this material world.

Movie 2012

I am not a movie critique, but then there are few movies which inspires/force you to write about it something.
Movie 2012 is a theme based movie, with good animations to be watched on a big screen ofcourse and not devoid of various stupidities like catching the flight while running, escaping danger every time, to name a few.

However what touched me the most is the underlying theme of this movie which is- “live your life as if it is your last day”.
This movie touches on basic emotion of human beings- the love for each other. We love our family, relatives and friends. This movie reminds us that today in this fast paced world we have not just got away from them physically but even emotionally. We hold onto grudges for long and don’t forgive our kith and kin-which is actually bad. But we fail to realize that we have just one precious life which is very uncertain and we may not know when the person we love go away from us. We will not get the time to communicate our feelings, to say the person how much we love him/her, to ask sorry and say thank you.
Hence this movie is a good reminder to forget the past, start a new beginning every day and express our emotions atleast to the people who value them.
