Rain-Drop

Falling down the foggy cloud

Reaching down the misty mount

Rolling down the slopy hill

I finally landed on the curly leaf.

Staying for a while,

Thinking for a time;

The journey to the unknown valley began-

In the meanwhile.

Dropping from a height,

Shivering with the fright;

I finally landed on the smooth palm,

That made me calm.

The palm asked-

Why do u leave your home?

And step into the world unknown;

To which I replied-

Everything has its own fate;

I am not the exception,

as I am a drop that has to drop

Samri!!

Well the title of the blog may seem ridiculous or something of high significance or just a random thought.
Well in original Samri is a folk music of Arab tradition (I came to know it today while googling for the word).
Then if i came to know this word today which is so musical, then why did i choose it in first place???
Well. yes ofcourse the word has got some musical connotation to it and it reminds of the music of Zee Horror Show. (oohh am scared)
Many of you might have got the connection but few might still be trying to hit the wicket. Yes, Samri was the character in this serial (though I have never watched the serial). And not just the Zee Horror show had a character named Samri but our college also had a guy named Samri. Surprising.. ya???
Well his original name is not Samri but it was a pseudonym given to him. Why?? Was he so horrible?? Did he look like Samri or were his actions resembled the character (Now how can I say when I have never watched this serial) So I ping this guy on gtalk to know the reason why was he facilitated with such a honor. Well the reply is he resembled Samri errrrr i mean his eyes :P
But ya his eyes alone resemble Samri and not he. He is a frightfully good person, a sportzzz freak and a Marketing Guy. A person known for sleeping in class, at times getting into real arguments having some logic and above all a Punjabi Munda. A helpful person, good at heart, fond of travelling and a Scorpio (same as me :)). He is also good at team management and like marketing jobs only so that he can roam around, (may be lucky enough to find a girl :P). But i guess he has to improve upon his marketing skills to get some real success ;)
He get angry rarely but when he gets angry, God save the other person. Even though my contact was not much during Nirma days, I feel he is a reliable man, with a logical brain and having a sportzzz spirit never to die.
He is a good friend of mine and will ever remain so.
Wish you all the luck- Akhilesh Vidyabhanu.

Zindagi na Milegi Dobara

Alias- Live life to the fullest,
This is a new movie with a theme that live life to the Fullest, who knows- Kal ho naa ho!!!
Well ofcourse we should try to live life to the fullest. Very few of us even try to live life to the fullest, forget about actually living so. We should try to accomplish all our dreams and desires and never wait for tomorrow as we know, tomorrow never comes.
In the movie three childhood friends go to spain and try one adventure each which they are probably scared of, and try to enjoy the life to the maximum.
Similarly, at times we should also leave life at the edge at times, should have atleast 2 lifetime friends, who are the life for you.
If I talk about myself few adventures that I would like to give a shot to in my life are-
  • Deep sea diving (though I am afraid of deep water)
  • Sky Diving (though I have motion sickness)
  • River rafting in stormy sea
  • Re-Live the childhood days again and do some childish acts
  • Para Gliding
  • Laugh my heart out.
This are a few acts  I wanna try in my life. But to make my life, live as if it was the last day I want to accomplish following things-
  • Do my work sincerely
  • Pray to God
  • Talk to close friends and relatives
  • Talk atleast once a day to Parents
  • Pursue my Hobbies and interest areas
  • Eat healthy
  • Learn something new Daily
  • Be nice to everyone
And the list may go on and on and on.

Death

Death a scary topic indeed!!! Why all of a sudden such a topic??? Recent terrorist attack?? No.
This topic came to my mind by death of a neighbour who was loved by everyone in our colony.
Death is so uncertain and when it strikes to some close relative of yours', the life is shattered. It seems as if everything has come to an end. It seems as if some important, indispensable part of our life has been taken away from us.
I have seen a few deaths of my close relatives and yes it is hard to believe that the person who was in your life a few days, a few hours or may be a few minutes back, is no more.
Yes, it was hard for me to accept death of a few people in my life. Like On July 9th, one of my neighbour expired sending shock waves to the entire neighborhood.
The reason being that he was very close to everyone in our society. Listening to the news of his death, sent a shock wave in entire area and tears could be seen in everyones' eyes.
But have we ever thought of death from the perspective of person who dies. This may seem to be a baseless question.- Perspective of a Dead Person. But in reality a question with a strong base.
I was talking about this to my friend and in maximum cases we found that atleast in our close circle, whoever died, it was good for that person. The people were suffering from some or other ailment and it has been good for them that they got rid from the clutches of the suffering be it mental or physical.
It does not mean that all death happens for good. But ya this is the other way to provide ourselves with some solace.
