Mein Kampf

Mein Kampf is the autobiography of Adolf Hitler. The word is a German word and it means- “My Struggle”.
This was the book which took me longest time to read. No doubt it’s a bit painstaking to continue reading this book. At times you will tend to loose interest and think of read a later. But if discontinued it will be harder to read the book. In the starting I found book really interesting, but slowly-slowly I did not find much interest in the book. Though I never felt bored while reading this.
The book has two volumes and I found volume two more appealing then the first one.
The book contains various statements which are worth pondering and debating. The way Hitler has interpreted the situation and understood is really appreciable.
Hitler thought of various names for the book but then he finally decided on Mein Kampf. He wrote the book while in imprisonment in 1924 and in this book he has encompassed his life from childhood, his struggles, his political view and his learning from life as yet.
The book presents a deeper look into the history of Germany and the world from 1918-1923. The book reveals a lot about Hitler, his thinking, his philosophy for life. Hitler was a racist and a true national. I ever in my life as yet don’t know a person as patriotic as Hitler.
No doubt after reading the book you develop a soft corner for Hitler. He from childhood was having an artistic mindset and was not violent. But the struggles he faced in life, the ruling by Jews on Germany and the vulnerable attitude of Germans made him take violent step against Jews. The time he wrote this book he was in the process of making his party, and arising in Germans the need for war against Jews for preservation of their country and their race. Nazi party is no where described in this book.
Hitler was very intelligent and life taught him a lot. He was a brilliant orator and his philosophy by large could be well accepted by people.
Though there were some criticism for the book itself and he was criticized for getting racist in his views and approach.
There is also a sequel to Mein Kampf, named “Zweites Buch” (Second Book) which never got into public domain.
Overall its good reading, just you need to maintain your interest. Personally I liked the book and would like to read it all again.

Anyway

It is a poem by Mother Teresa which i really like-

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered; Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God; It was never between you and them anyway.

Happpiness!!! :-)

What is happiness?
To a child it is a new toy
To a girl it’s a new doll
To some it is a box of chocolates
But to me it’s the chirping birds

To a mother it is her smiling baby
To a father it is his scholar son
To a teenage it is no restriction
But to me it’s the blowing wind

To a nation it is sovereignty
To a man it is growing profits
To a woman it is undue attention
But to me it is the blossoming flower

Happiness has no bounds
It is present everywhere
It is in nature, in mind and heart
It in you and me and all
